2nd Annual Special Olympics Unified Bocce Ball Tournament
The Red Clay Consolidated School District hosted its 2nd Annual Special Olympics Unified Bocce Ball Tournament at Thomas McKean High School, bringing together over 400 athletes from seven schools. With the support of 70 dedicated volunteers from Thomas McKean, including members of the Special Olympics Unified Club, AVID Program, and National Honor Society, students from elementary schools through our Meadowood Transition Program participated in this fully accessible and ADA-compliant event. This year, we also marked the launch of our first-ever Unified Physical Education course, underscoring our commitment to growing and enhancing inclusive programs across the district.
