GRADUATION INFORMATION:
Cap and Gown information:
- All graduates must wear a cap and gown from Jostens. Caps and gowns may not be decorated, and accessories not provided by the school (such as sashes) are not allowed. Gowns should be removed from the bag and hung up once they are received to avoid wrinkles.

Graduation Practice:
(2026) June 4th at 8am in the Aux Gym at McKean

- Attendance is required in order to attend graduation
- Graduation tickets will be distributed at this time as long as the student does not have any outstanding obligations (sports uniform, textbook, etc.)
- The senior picnic will be right after graduation practice
Graduation:
(2026) June 6th at 3pm at the Chase Fieldhouse (401 Garasches Ln, Wilmington, DE 19801)

- Students must report at 2pm
- Doors open for families at 2:15pm – seats are not assigned, so it is recommended that families come early to sit together
Dress code:

- Business Casual attire - dress or dress pants and a nice top / collared shirt and pants.
- Shoes - Comfortable dress shoes with a back (no slip-ons). Heels higher than 2” are NOT suggested (we do not want students to trip). Clean and nice sneakers are acceptable if approved by Mrs. Adams or Mrs. Alexander.
- Cap and gown can NOT be decorated, and graduates may not wear sashes that were not provided by the school.
- Any graduate outside of dress code will be prohibited from participating in the graduation ceremony.
